This class is suitable for all levels of fitness; you can take it at your own pace and get a great workout. Circuit training is an excellent way to get fit and improve mobility, strength and stamina, due to the range of exercises that target key areas of your body. It's great at beating boredom, as each exercise station is performed in short bursts before quickly moving on to the next. The aim is to stay active!
Our Circuits class incorporates bodyweight exercises as well as the use of an extensive range of equipment to help shape you up.
Circuit stations usually last for between 30 seconds and two minutes so this will get your heart rate up and give you a high intensity workout.
Examples of bodyweight exercises include pushups, situps, squats, lunges, jumping jacks, star jumps, plank, tuck jumps, mountain climbers and much more!
We also use equipment for exercises such as box jumps, skipping, rowing, boxing, tyre flipping and pulling, prowler pushing, pullups, kettlebells and more!
Combined, this wide range of exercises will help you burn fat, tone up and boost your cardiovascular system, whilst having fun!
This class is great for beginners as it can be adjusted to suit your age, fitness and abilities; you will feel a sense of accomplishment having completed the exercises.
More advanced members can increase their workout intensity by performing more repetitions or using heavier weights in the alotted time.
Gym members have used this class to prepare for many obstacle course events such as Yorkshire Warrior, Spartan Race, Tough Mudder and more!
